This achievement results from close collaboration between Argentina's agriculture sector, health authorities, and private enterprises. Philippine inspectors recently confirmed the high sanitary standards of Argentine meat production, paving the way for this decision.

In 2023, the Philippines imported over $1.75 billion worth of meat products, with a 17% year-on-year increase recorded in 2024. As a global leader in high-quality beef, Argentina continues to strengthen its presence in the international meat market.
